Laudato Sí Movement

During the XIII General Chapter 2018 our Congregation decided to become member of the then Global Catholic Climate Movement. With the movement we rejoice about the blessings and agree that the new name expresses even better its identity.

Congratulation!

Together, with Laudato Si’ Animators, Member Organizations, Catholics across the globe, and Church leaders, earlier Thursday, we rejoiced in the blessings this movement has received during the past six years and exalted over what awaits us!

This is truly a day to celebrate! Laudato Si’!

You’re warmly invited to rejoice with us and this entire global movement that is creating hope across the world. Please share the below resources and pass along this exciting news with friends and family. Laudato Si’!

They said it

Cardinal Michael Czerny, Under-secretary of the Section for Migrants of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development

“[The] name now is not a corporate label; it is a prayer... When we name the movement now, every time we name it we're saying a prayer. Laudato Si', praise be the Creator.”

Rev. Joshtrom Isaac Kureethadam, Head of the Vatican's Ecology and Creation Office

“What a beautiful name, Laudato Si' Movement, which reveals your identity, what you are and... what you should be. And we will be praying that you may be inspired by the vision of Laudato Si' to take care of our common home, to listen to the cry of the Earth and of the poor, inflamed by the sense of justice but also by the theology and spirituality of this Gospel of Creation.”
