SR. BETÂNIA (Maria Idelzuite) LEITE, OSB

was called home to God

on April 29, 2026, in Recife

She was born on December 30, 1933 in Mauriti, Brazil, Diocese of Crato.

She offered herself to God through Temporary Profession on

January 1, 1962 and Perpetual Profession on February 10, 1965 

both in Olinda Priory House.

Her service as a Missionary Benedictine Sister was given in the Priory of

Olinda.

We recommend our deceased Sister to your prayer.
