FEAST OF THE PRESENTATION OF THE LORD

On February 2, we celebrate the Presentation of the Lord.
The child Jesus is brought by  Mary and Joseph to the temple
as it was Jewish custom for the first born son.

At the same time it is the Feast of Consecrated Life,
of all persons who with Jesus have given their lives to God.

Jesus is the light of revelation to the Gentiles
and glory to His people Israel.

Therefore, we process into the chapel with lights in our hands.

We thank Mary, who brought the light to the world,
and wish to follow her example.

This is also the feast day of our Vicaress General Sr. Lumen Gloria Dungca.

Congratulations,
and may the Lord be always your light!
