On October 12, the International Formators' Meeting was opened in the Casa Santo Spirito in Rome.
The opening mass started with an entrance procession carrying the Word of God.
We thank God for the safe arrival of all participants and trust in His guidance during the meeting.
During the opening liturgy, sisters were brought back to the history of our Congregation with its difficult beginnings and the hardships of our pioneer sisters. They remembered in gratitude their own formators and their positive attitudes, which helped them to grow.
In her opening address M. Maoro gave an overview of plans for the IFM 2022 and wished that it could be a laboratory, where our charism, synodality and interculturality is lived.
The first one and a half days were spent by listening to each others
joys and challenges in a synodal way.
In all experiences it became obvious that God is the true formator.
