Our Oblates in Barcelona and Madrid expressed their desire to participate in the International Encounter of Benedictine Oblates, in Rome on 2023, so they requested a time of formation and preparation. Sr. Ana Maria Raca, OSB, General Secretary, was then invited to give formation on the Rule of St. Benedict, with the theme: Listening and Walking Together. She was in Barcelona for a week. Sr. Luzia Maria Manalo, OSB was also present. The Oblates also had their renewal of Oblation.
All were very happy and grateful, already asking for the continuation. In Barcelona, the group participated in the Holy Mass in the Filipino Parish and has marked the moment with a photo taken with the Filipino priests. After the Encounter with the Oblates in Barcelona, Sr. Ana Maria went to Madrid to visit our Sisters. Our heartfelt gratitude for the availability, simplicity and joy of Sr. Ana Maria in having answered our request!
