"A Journey with Paul and Benedict"
The Casa Santo Spirito Community in Rome had its annual retreat with Abbot em. Edmund Power, OSB as retreat master, from October 25-31.
He led us on a journey with St. Paul reflecting on his conversion, his mystic relationship to Christ as a precondition for mission and his vulnerability. In his reflections on Benedictine life he compared the three Benedictine vows stability, conversatio morum and obedience with the three gifts of the magi gold, frankincense and myrrh.
The high point of each day was the Eucharist celebrated receiving Christ in Word and Sacrament.
