Arrivederci - Good Bye!

 

On June 22, 2021 the Casa community invited all the employees who worked in the guest house, which had to be closed due to the pandemic, to thank them and appreciate their contribution to our apostolate of hospitality .

At the same time we bid farewell to our Sr. Cecil Jo, who was part of the guest house team for the last 6 years until its closure, and to Sr. Anima Kim, who after four years study in Rome will return to Daegu Priory.

The evening started with praying vespers together.

Afterwards we welcomed all to our garden for supper with barbecue.

The emplyees enjoyed also to help with the preparation and making the barbecue.

For some it was a happy encounter again after a year or so.

It was just a joy to be together!

Some of the former employees came with their family and showed their gratitude with a flower.

M. Maoro and Sr. Raimunda welcomed the guests in the name of all sisters.

The evening closed with a short program in the hall, where our guests could get a glimpse of the joys of intercultural living.
