For the Care of God's Creation
A Practice Guideline

'LAUDATO SI' No. 91

    

'LAUDATO SI', the encyclical letter that Pope Francis promulgated in 2015 states that "our sister earth cries out to us because of the harm we have inflicted on her by our irresponsible use and abuse of the goods with which God has endowed her." and points out the seriousness of the crisis of our ecosystem today.
In addition, Pope Francis emphasized many times that 'Nothing in this world is indifferent to us' and requests us to have 'ecological conversion.'
At the 25th Daegu Priory Chapter (Direction 4. Care for God's creation) our community has decided to work on concrete and practical efforts to restore the order of our ecosystem.
Meanwhile the members of our priory JPIC (Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation) have diligently and creatively worked and now we publish "A Practical Guide to Care of God's Creation."
It should be simple and ordinary and yet our dream is that we are deeply aware of our every little practice is tied with the life and the vitality of our earth and our wish is that we are ever united in our intention and practice for "the work of saving and redeeming the Earth!"
